In April 2024, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) awarded Initial Accreditation to the Internal Medicine Physician Residency Program at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. The program is sponsored by Baptist Memorial Medical Education in Memphis, TN. In March of 2025, we proudly matched all 12 PGY-1 positions that were available! The current PGY-1 residents are looking forward to participating in the recruitment of future team members.
We are happy to announce that we will have 12 PGY-1 positions available through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) Main Residency Match for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications will be taken exclusively via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) during the recruitment season, which will begin in October of 2025 and end in January of 2026.
